Working toward one goal

Increasing access and utilization of quality care through our community partners to reduce late-stage breast cancer diagnosis and breast cancer mortality.

Grants Overview

An estimated 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime. Breast cancer screening and treatment are vital to ensure the health of individuals in our communities.

To best address the enormity and complexity of the issue, Komen Greater NYC believes that it is imperative to fund community-based breast health programs that provide culturally and linguistically appropriate education and outreach, screening coordination, support and treatment. For more information on the kinds of grants Komen Greater NYC offers, please review the three different grant programs we fund:

To apply for a grant, organizations must read and respond to the Letter of Intent and Request for Applications (RFA) once they have determined their eligibility for a grant. Please email or call 212-461-6189 to be notified of the next RFA announcement.

Komen Greater NYC also supports breast cancer research though the Komen National office peer-reviewed granting program.
