Over ten thousand New Yorkers will join over a thousand breast cancer survivors in Central Park on Sunday, September 9, 2018 for the Komen Greater NYC Race for the Cure. I’ll be there to run breast cancer out of town!
Nina Lorez Collins was born in New York City in 1969 and attended Barnard College. She had a long career in book publishing, first as a scout and then as an agent. She completed a Masters in Narrative Medicine at Columbia University and become a certified Life Coach with IPEC. She has four children and lives in Brooklyn, where she is a trustee of The Brooklyn Public Library. Her mother, the filmmaker and writer Kathleen Collins, died from breast cancer at age 46 - this is a cause Nina holds near and dear to her heart.
Join Nina, and together, we WILL create more survivors!
