2018 Race for the Cure

OTG Management

OTG has partnered again with Susan G. Komen Greater NYC for the Race for the Cure on Sunday, September 9th in Central Park! The Race is one day a year, but for women and families dealing with breast cancer, the fight is every day. Finding a cure is an ongoing effort. Year by year, story by story, and dollar by dollar, the efforts of fundraisers save lives. The money Komen Greater NYC raises helps deliver food to women in treatment, offers transportation to chemo, and provides screenings. It also helps fund more research, reduce disparities, and find the cures.

We have some lofty goals this year, but with your help we feel they are attainable:

1. Boost the OTG race team to 75 members! (this can be a huge factor in reaching our goals, we should aim to recruit as many friends/family in August as possible.)

2. OTG Crewmembers set a goal to raise $400 each (keep in mind that this a goal and not a requirement—every little bit helps! If you’re able to reach $400, don’t stop there!)

3. The Team goal is to surpass $25,000 in total amount raised!

The first 75  Crewmembers to sign up will have their registration fee covered by OTG, so make sure to use code: otg when registering! Keep in mind that OTG will be matching Crewmember donations up to $7,500! A meeting space has been secured at Central Park so we can meet up with the OTG Team before and after the race for refreshments.

OTG’s 2018 Wellness Challenge has begun! This 4-week challenge will run through September 12th, encompassing 4 activities that will allow you to earn points towards winning a Peloton bike! Joining the Susan G Komen Race for the Cure is just one of those activities, ask your HR Crewmember for more information.

You’ll receive 500 points for participating in the Race!
You’ll receive 3 points for every dollar raised!
